South to the Sea of Cortez
The bikes traveled by van to the border, then the riding began. The southbound line crossed into Mexico, ran through Gonzaga Bay, and reached Bahia de los Angeles on the Sea of Cortez. Thanksgiving was spent at the bay.
The Pacific Side Home
The return followed the Pacific side through San Vicente, Santo Tomas, and Ensenada before the border crossing at Mexicali or Tecate. Don, Justin, and a third rider made the trip. The record does not settle every mileage detail, but it marks the shape of the run.
