WABDR Sections 3 & 4 — Ellensburg to Chelan

A two day run on Washington BDR sections 3 and 4, from Ellensburg and Cle Elum toward Chelan. Four riders crossed the Wenatchee National Forest past Mission Ridge and Cashmere. Early summer meant the high ground could still hold snow.

The High Line

The route moved north from the Ellensburg and Cle Elum country, through Wenatchee National Forest and past Mission Ridge, then through Cashmere toward Chelan. It was early summer in the Cascades, when clear plans still need room for snow.

Keep It Moving

Justin rode with three others, including Chris Prescott and Mike Cerney. The route was only two days long, but BDR miles do not need to be long to be consequential. A blocked pass or slow section changes the day quickly.
