Rainier & Adams Weekend 2021

Two days through the South Cascades: Chinook Pass and Tipsoo Lake beneath Rainier, then past Mount Adams and down to the Columbia River Gorge. Nothing exotic. Just two riders, a good line through familiar country, and enough miles to clear the head.

South from Rainier

The first day ran through Mount Rainier National Park by Chinook Pass and Tipsoo Lake, then south toward Mount Adams. The second day followed the Columbia River Gorge near Carson before turning back through Enumclaw and White Pass.

A Proper Weekend

This was a short Washington loop, not an expedition. That is part of its value. The route packs Rainier, Adams, forest roads, and the Gorge into two days without needing a complicated plan.
