Central Cuba — No Plan B
Twelve days on rental BMWs through central Cuba: Havana, the Bay of Pigs, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Santa Clara, and Matanzas. The phones were mostly useless, so the ride ran on the people nearby and what the group had carried in. That was enough.

Out of Havana
The route left Havana for Playa Larga at the Bay of Pigs, then ran east through Cienfuegos to Trinidad. From there it turned north through Sancti Spiritus and Remedios to Santa Clara, then west through Matanzas and back to Havana. This was central Cuba only; Vinales stayed off the map.
No Plan B
These were BMW F series rentals from Profil Cuba Reisen. For most of the trip, the phones did not work. There was no spare money and no easy way to call for help. The useful things were the bikes, the route, and the people met along it.
